Using straight lines guidelines
This option creates parallel lines for the guidance system, using the width of the implement to set the distance between guidelines.
In situations where the work is generally done in straight lines, it is recommended to set the AB Line near the Headland line. This allows the lines to evenly space across the working area.
- Position the vehicle.
- Select
/ Guidelines menu
/ Change guidance mode, if necessary, to select AB Lines
.
- To set the AB line, select Create New AB line
.
- To change the name of the guideline, select GUIDELINE NAME.
- Enter a name and confirm. Confirm the new guideline.
- Drive the vehicle to start of the swath. Select Set A Point.
- To set a "B" point, drive along the required swath and select
.
Point "B" is displayed and the parallel lines for the autosteer are displayed on the screen.
In most cases the screen will display the line being travelled and the two adjacent lines.
To display all the guidelines on the field, select at the top of the screen Line Numbers.
Setting AB lines manually
It is also possible to set AB lines using coordinates.
- Select:
Guideline menu
/ Manual AB Line
.
The Manual AB Line screen is displayed.
- Set point "A" using one of the following methods:
- Drive to the required position and select
.
- Enter the coordinates (Latitude/Longitude) of the ‘A’ point.
- Set the B point using one of the following methods:
- Drive to the required position and select
.
- Enter the coordinates (latitude/longitude) of the B point.
- Enter the Heading of the AB Line. The software will automatically place a ‘B’ point to create an AB line of the desired heading, relative to the ‘A’ point.
Note: To delete a guideline, select .
